If the shift or schedule changes of one or more people affect a period of time that does not exceed 4 weeks, or applies to a past period, you can use Visual Planning to make these changes.

Make modifications that apply to one or more days

With Visual Planning you can plan shifts and work hours with great flexibility for a period of time that does not exceed 4 weeks and for as many users as you want.

Before getting started check that:

To plan daily shifts:

  1. Go to Company > Organization > Planning > Visual planner.

  2. Select the checkboxes for the days on which you want to schedule a shift change. The labels will help you recognize the shifts that were originally planned.

  3. Click Plan.

  4. Select a shift from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Confirm.

The shift variation for the days and individuals that were selected has been applied, and the name of the weekly schedule on the main screen has been changed to Personalized.

💡After clicking Plan, above the drop-down menu containing all the shifts, you can see the number of people and days you have selected.

💡 You can change a person's shift via the Shift change feature.

Plan modifications that apply to one or more weeks

Before getting started check that:

The procedure to plan weekly schedules is very similar to that for shifts:

  1. Go to Company > Organization > Planning > Visual planner.

  2. Select the weeks during which you want to schedule a shift change.

  3. Click Plan or Plan hours.

  4. Select a weekly schedule and location from the drop-down menus.

  5. Click Confirm.

📌 You can overwrite shifts and schedules as often as you like: if a schedule needs to be changed, simply repeat the procedure for the days or weeks during which the change is required.

⚠️ If you use the cursor to scroll through the weeks after selecting shifts or schedules, Fluida will warn you that by continuing you would lose all selections made up to that point.
