Assign work hours to a person when you invite them to register on Fluida, or do so at a later time, to ensure the schedule appears on their personal presence calendar.
Assign a work schedule when you invite a user to register on Fluida
Before getting started check that:
You have created at least one weekly schedule.
You have enabled the Presence Management feature.
When you invite a user to join a company on Fluida, you can immediately assign a weekly schedule, so you won't have to complete this step later by accessing the Time and Presence Management settings menu.
To assign a work schedule when inviting a new user:
Go to Company > Settings > Users.
Select Add person.
Fill in all the required fields (in this article you will find more information related to this).
Once you reach the Presence Management section, open the drop-down menu under Weekly Schedule.
Click on Select to open a drop-down menu containing a list of existing work schedules.
Select the name of the work schedule you wish to assign to the user: you will immediately see the schedule preview.
Click Save to confirm.
Click Add to send the invitation to register on Fluida.
The invitation has been sent. When the user accepts the invitation, their attendance calendar will be created using the time you assigned.
💡 During the invitation phase, when selecting the schedule the user will be assigned, if no previously saved schedule fits your needs, you can always create a new one by clicking Add new and following the instructions. How to create shifts and schedules as part of the user's invitation
Assign a work shift to a person at a later time
Before you begin check that:
You have created the new weekly schedule you wish to assign.
You have enabled the Presence Management feature.
If you did not assign a work shift to a user during the invitation phase, or chose the "assign later" option, you can always assign one at a later time.
To assign a work schedule:
Go to Company > Settings > Users.
Select the user to whom you wish to assign a schedule.
Once you reach the Presence Management section, open the drop-down menu under Weekly Schedule.
Click on Select to open a drop-down menu containing a list of existing work schedules.
Select the name of the work schedule you wish to assign to the user: you will immediately see the schedule preview.
Click Save to confirm.
The work shift has been assigned. Starting from the day after the modification, the user will see the new schedule on their presence calendar.
💡 You can always create a new work schedule, even while selecting the schedule from the drop-down menu: click Add new and follow the steps to create the schedule.
