What are clocking rules?
Clocking rules allow you to define how employees track their time when working on-site or remotely. You can specify from where they are allowed to clock in and how many daily entries are required.
Administrators and Power Users can configure company-wide clocking rules or customize them for individual users.
Types of clocking rules
Clocking requirements (Timestamp requirements)
Clocking requirements define how many times a person must record their presence during the workday. Fluida offers several options:
Every clock-in / clock-out (including breaks): Users must clock in and out at the start and end of their shift, as well as for scheduled breaks (such as lunch).
Start / End of shift: Users must clock in at the start and clock out at the end of their workday.
Once-a-day presence: Users only need to clock in once during the day to confirm they are working.
None: Users with this setting are not required to enter any clock-ins.

On-site clocking modes (In the office)
Fluida offers different ways to clock in from company locations (such as offices, construction sites, etc.):
No validation: Allows users to enter clock-ins manually by specifying the date, time, and location. This does not require manager approval.
Smartphone: Allows users to record a certified clock-in by clicking the button on the app's home screen. The entry is verified via Bluetooth or GPS.
NFC Badge: Allows users to record a certified clock-in by tapping an NFC badge against a Station.

Remote clocking (By remote)
Fluida allows you to choose different clocking modes for remote work (e.g., working from home, mobile roles, or business trips):
Not allowed / Not required: Users are either not authorized to work remotely or can do so without needing to clock in.
Enabled areas only (GPS): When working remotely, users must provide a certified clock-in via smartphone by geolocating within specific authorized areas.
From anywhere (no validation): Users record their time manually (non-certified) by selecting "Remote" as their location.
