Managing Bluetooth and NFC clock-in paired with a location

Pair a new clock-in device with a location

View clock-in devices associated with a location

Before you start:

  • You must have an Administrator or Power User profile.

To view the list of clock-in devices:

  1. Open the Fluida app.

  2. Go to Company > Organization > Workplaces.

  3. Select the desired location.

  4. Scroll down to the Timestamping section.

This section lists all Bluetooth and NFC devices paired with the location. For each device, you can see its name, ID, status (Activated if running, Deactivated if temporarily disabled), and the technology icon (Bluetooth or NFC) used to verify clock-ins.

Note: If you use the same Station for both smartphone and Badge clock-ins, it will appear twice in the list—once under NFC and once under Bluetooth.

Activate or disactivate a device

To allow or prevent a device from recording clock-ins:

  1. Go to Company > Organization > Workplaces.

  2. Select the location and scroll to Timestamping.

  3. Select a device to open its details.

  4. Check or uncheck the Activated box.

If disabled, the device cannot record verified clock-ins. Once enabled, the device is active and ready for employees assigned to that location.

⚠️ Warning: We currently advise against disabling NFC devices. Once re-enabled, they may fail to record clock-ins correctly.

Edit a device

You can change a device's name to make it easier to identify, especially if you have multiple devices in the same location (e.g., one on each floor).

  1. Go to Company > Organization > Workplaces.

  2. Select the location and scroll to Timestamping.

  3. Select a device and tap Modify (bottom righ).

  4. Enter the new name and select Update to save.

Delete a device

Delete a device if you need to replace it or if you need to reset the connection to resolve a pairing issue.

  1. Go to Company > Organization > Workplaces.

  2. Select the location and scroll to Timestamping.

  3. Select the device and tap Delete.

The device is now removed and can be re-paired or replaced.

Troubleshooting

I disabled and re-enabled my Station, and now I can't clock in with my NFC Badge

Try deleting the Station from the location and pairing it again; this should resolve the issue. In the future, avoid disabling NFC devices to prevent malfunctions.
