The weekly calendar

Written by Fulvia Chesi

The weekly calendar is the overview of Fluida's attendance calendar, available with the Attendance Management feature. It shows, at a glance, the entire week for one or more people, with an immediate summary of each day. It is the ideal starting point for getting a broad picture before diving into the detail of a single day.

It is useful for different reasons depending on the role:

  • For the employee: check their working week at a glance (spot days with anomalies, check company closures, rest days, planned shifts, or confirmed or pending events) and see what colleagues are doing (e.g. to know whether they will be available on the same days).

  • For the administrator and authorized users: get an immediate overview of the team's or department's week (who is working and who is not), quickly identify days with anomalies that need to be resolved, and access the detail of a specific day to take action.

To access the weekly view, select Calendar from Fluida's side menu. Depending on your permissions, you may see only your own calendar or also those of other people.

What the weekly calendar contains

The weekly calendar is organized into the following sections.

1. Display options

Weekly (Team) or monthly (People) view

If the privacy mode is set to Standard, clicking on Calendar opens the Team view directly, which shows the week for all the people you have access to. Clicking on People (next to Team) switches to the monthly view of individual calendars.

💡 Depending on your permissions, you may see only your own calendar or also those of other people.

Time navigation

At the top of the page you will find the controls to move through time:

  • Today — brings the view back to the current week, starting from Monday.

  • Displayed period — the center shows the date range of the week currently being viewed (e.g. 13 Jul 2026 > 19 Jul 2026).

  • ‹ and › arrows — move to the previous or next week.

Team and workplace filters

Below the navigation there are two filter buttons that let you narrow the view to a subset of people:

  • TEAM — opens a panel with the list of company teams (if any have been created). Select one or more teams and tap Apply to show only the people belonging to those teams.

  • LOCATIONS — opens a panel with the list of company workplaces (e.g. Milan, London…). Select one or more locations and tap Apply to show only the people whose primary workplace is among those selected.

💡 In both panels, the Select all option is available to quickly select or deselect all filters.

2. The weekly grid

The main area of the calendar shows a grid with one row per person and seven columns, one for each day of the week (Monday to Sunday). The first result is your own calendar, followed by the weekly calendars of other people in alphabetical order by last name.

For each person:

  • Avatar and name — on the left, the profile picture and name (with the last name in bold).

💡 Click on a person's name to access their monthly view.

  • Seven day cells — each cell shows a summary of a day: the background color indicates at a glance whether there are shifts and events (pending or already confirmed) that affect the day. If reconciliation is active in the company, days with detected anomalies show a ! icon on an orange background, signaling that action is needed.

💡 Click on a cell to open the daily calendar and view the full detail of that day.

  • Weekly total hours — to the right of the row, information about the weekly schedule and its time-balancing status is displayed.

💡 If a person has no working schedule assigned, no planning, and no anomalies, the message "No working schedule assigned" appears instead of the grid.

At the bottom of the page there is the Legend ℹ button (in the "What do these colors mean?" section), which opens a panel explaining the meaning of all the colors and graphic elements in the day cells.
