The daily calendar is the detail view of Fluida's attendance calendar, available with the Attendance Management feature: it shows everything that happened — or is expected — on a single day for a specific person. It is the go-to reference for reading, checking, and managing the events of a day. It is useful for different reasons depending on the role:
For the employee: check that the day's events have been recorded correctly, monitor their status (if they require approval), and view the day's details such as the scheduled shift or workplace.
For the administrator and authorized users: identify and resolve anomalies, manage requests on the calendars they are responsible for before the period closes, verify where and how a person worked, and reconstruct a day in case of a report or dispute.
To access the calendar, select Calendar from Fluida's side menu. The default view shows the monthly or weekly calendar with a visual summary of each day; tap or click on a specific day to open the daily detail.
💡 You can always access your own calendar. Access to another person's calendar depends on your permissions.
What the daily calendar contains
The daily calendar is organized into four sections, described below.
1. Date, shift, and quick actions
At the top of the card, the header My calendar is displayed if you are viewing your own calendar, or the person's name if you are viewing someone else's calendar.
Just below it, the date of the day is shown (e.g. Thu 16/07/2026). You can navigate between days using the ‹ and › arrows on either side of the date.
Below the date you will find the scheduled shift — for example 08:30 > 13:00 | 15:00 > 19:00 for a fixed shift, or 8h for a flexible shift.
Next to the shift there is the ⋮ menu (three dots), which gives access to the actions available for that day:
If the feature is enabled, you can make a shift change by clicking the pencil icon next to the scheduled shift.
If the feature is enabled, you can make a workplace change by clicking the pencil icon next to the scheduled workplace.
The New request or report option to add new events.
2. Day detail
The main area shows everything that happened — or is expected or reported — during the day, through cards.
Event cards
Each card represents an event recorded on that day and shows:
The event type (e.g. Regular attendance, Holiday, Remote work, Extra work…)
The duration in hours and minutes of the event.
💡 For fixed shifts, the event's time slot is also shown.
Additional information, when available: for example the scheduled workplace (e.g. Milan).
The event status, when applicable (e.g. Confirmed, Pending confirmation — for requests such as extra absence, attendance, or remote work).
💡 Days with no scheduled events
If no shift has been assigned for a day, the card shows the message "No daily schedule assigned — Nothing planned today". This typically appears when a rest day is scheduled for that day or when the person has not yet been assigned a schedule. If the day falls on a workplace closure (e.g. Saturday and Sunday), the card shows the message "Weekly closure — The company is closed today". If the company is closed for a public holiday, the name of the holiday is shown (e.g. Ferragosto — The company is closed today).
Clock-in entries
If clocking is active, clock-in summaries are also visible in the day detail. Each clock entry appears as a separate row showing the clock-in time, the direction of the clock entry, and the technology used.
Anomalies
If clocking is active in the company and time-balancing has been enabled, when Fluida detects an anomaly during the day a highlighted orange warning card appears. The card indicates the type of anomaly, the time slot involved, and the available actions to resolve it (e.g. selecting the cause from the dropdown menu).
3. Hours summary
At the bottom of the card you will find the Attendance section, which summarizes the day's hours broken down by category:
ORDINARY — regular attendance hours.
ABSENCE — hours covered by an absence (e.g. Holiday, Leave), with a breakdown of the justification type.
EXTRA WORK — hours worked beyond the scheduled shift, with a breakdown of the justification type.
PLANNED and DETECTED — when the system detects a discrepancy between the expected hours and the hours actually recorded (for example an unjustified absence or an unplanned attendance), the two entries are shown separately. Recorded hours appear in orange if they are lower than expected.
💡 If reconciliation is active for the company, the link View rules appears next to the Attendance heading, allowing you to consult the calculation rules applied to that person for that day.
4. Additional information
Depending on the features active in addition to Attendance Management, the daily calendar may also include at the bottom:
Activities performed — if the company uses activity reporting, here you will find the activities logged for the day. If you have not entered any yet, the message "You have not entered any activities" appears with the Add + button.
Expenses — if the company has activated the Expense Reports feature, this section shows the expenses entered for that day. You can add new ones via the Add + button.
