The accruals and residuals report

Written by Fulvia Chesi

The Accruals and residuals report allows you to monitor the accrual and usage of Holidays, Permits, and Former public holidays for every person.

Through this tool, Administrators and Power Users can verify employee balances in real time to ensure they align with payroll data and make adjustments if necessary. Other users can access the report to view their own data exclusively.

You can access the report via Company > Reports and data > Accruals and residuals.

What does the report look like?

Fluida offers different viewing modes to analyze data: a company-wide overview and two detailed views for individual users.

Company summary page

This section provides an overview of all staff. The table displays the balances (i.e., how much time a person can still request as of today without going into a negative balance) for each active tracker.

By clicking on a person's name, you can access their specific detail page to consult the precise data for different trackers.

Individual Detail

Within the individual detail view, information is organized to provide a comprehensive overview of the annual status and actual availability on a single screen.

For each counter, the following values are displayed:

  • Remaining: indicates how much can still be requested. The calculation takes into account both the total annual entitlement and what has already been scheduled.

  • Annual Entitlement: how many hours or days are accrued in a full year, according to the assigned accrual rule.

  • Already taken: how many hours or days have been used to date.

  • Previous Year Balance: days or hours accrued and not used in past years, carried over to the current year.

  • Planned: how many hours or days have been entered into the calendar and approved for future dates.

  • Accrued: how many hours or days have actually been earned from the beginning of the year up to the time of consultation.

💡 To compare Fluida data with your payslip, refer to the Accrued value. In case of discrepancies, manual corrections to the counters can always be made.
