On Fluida, a person's attendance calendar updates over time through events that are added, overlap, or replace existing schedules. You can add new events, or edit and delete planned ones.
Below are the events you can use to update the calendar.

Presence and absence events
Justifications are the main way to record absences, extra hours, and remote work.
Absences (vacation, leave, sick leave, other absences): Apply to the regular hours of a scheduled shift and indicate that the person will not be working during all or part of that shift.
Extra work (overtime): Represents hours worked outside the regular scheduled shift.
Remote work: Overlaps with regular shift hours and specifies that the person will work away from company premises.

Changes to scheduled location
These change the location assigned to a shift without altering the work hours. They overlap with regular hours and show that a person will work at a location other than their default one.
Location changes can result from:
Updating the person's primary location
Location switch: A temporary, one-off location change for one or more days by submitting a location switch request.
Visual planning: A recurring or advance-planned change made through the visual planning tool.
Shift adjustments
These fully replace the scheduled shift, updating the person's regular hours for one or more days.
Shift adjustments can result from:
Shift swap/change: A temporary shift change for one or more days by submitting a shift change request.
Visual planning: A recurring or advance-planned change made through the visual planning tool.
Clock-ins and clock-outs
If the Clock-in clock-out feature is active in your company, you can record actual start and end times, comparing them against the scheduled shift to calculate worked hours and spot any anomalies.
